Nunatukavut

The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is seeking Expressions of Interest (EOI) to assist in developing a family violence prevention education program with a focus on promoting healthy relationships.  

This FVP Advisory Committee will assist in refining module topics, identifying community needs and guiding format. The committee will also aid in shaping the program content and final delivery format while ensuring relevance and accessibility for NunatuKavut Inuit members.

Scope of Work

The successful members must have access to computer equipment to participate in virtual meetings for the duration of the committee. Any material developed as part of this committee will be the property of NCC and remain with NCC staff. Any required travel will be compensated according to NCC rates. An honorarium will be provided as a token of appreciation for participation.

NCC invites expressions of interest from a range of individuals who are interested in providing representation for one or more of the following areas:

  • Service providers in related area of focus.
  • NunatuKavut Inuit who identify as 2SLGBTQQIA+.
  • NunatuKavut Inuit with a lived experience of family violence.
  • NunatuKavut Inuit Elders/Knowledge Holders.
  • NunatuKavut Inuit Youth.
  • Family members, allies, and agents of change in preventing family violence.
