Household Support workers are on hand in many NunatuKavut communities as of October 25, 2022, to assist seniors 60+ and adults with disabilities with basic tasks like:
- picking up groceries and other supplies
- picking up medications
- light yard work
- stowing wood
Support workers are available to service the following areas:
- Cartwright
- Black Tickle
- Charlottetown
- Pinsent’s Arm
- Port Hope Simpson
- St. Lewis
- Mary’s Harbour/Lodge Bay
- Straits: Red Bay, and Pinware to L’Anse au Clair
