Nunatukavut

The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is soliciting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from an Inuit education expert to guide curriculum and resource development centered around NunatuKavut Inuit education, ensuring curriculum is accurate and reflective of NunatuKavut Inuit culture and heritage.

This will be a part-time contract for approximately six months, with a possibility of extension.

Scope of Work

Part of this work will require collaboration with team members on this portfolio, as well as independent work to review current NL curriculum and resources. As an education expert, you will be responsible for the development of a teaching guide and resource that will serve the important function of broadening and enriching the understanding of NunatuKavut Inuit in our schools. You will work with others to determine objectives, curriculum, and subject-specific areas of focus, and carry out other duties as they relate to this overall assignment.

The successful proponent will be responsible for equipment necessary to participate in virtual meetings and working group activities. All material developed as part of this contract will be the property of NCC and remain with NCC staff. Any required travel will be compensated according to NCC rates and should not be included in the quotation.
