Highlights:
- Learn more about community engagement (crime prevention of youth) in Newfoundland and Labrador.
- A 1-week training/orientation session at the RCMP HQ in St. John’s, NL (all expenses covered!)
- Additional 8 weeks of paid employment at your local RCMP Detachment.
- Rate of pay: $16.50/hour
Requirements:
- Member of NunatuKavut Community Council.
- High School Graduate; between the ages of 19-29.
- Cannot have a criminal record (a clear Certificate of Conduct is required. This will be requested later if successful).
- Currently registered as a full-time student, and returning to full-time studies in the Fall of 2024. (Not a current student? Apply anyway – all applications will be reviewed and considered).
- Must possess a valid Drivers License.
Pay Scale: $16.50/hour @ 40 hours per week for 9 weeks.
