The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is inviting Expressions of Interest (EOI) from passionate and committed NunatuKavut Inuit youth aged 15-29 to join the NunatuKavut Energy Youth Council. This council aims to empower youth in actively participating in energy planning and education, thereby fostering sustainable development and community resilience in NunatuKavut.
In addition, the council will establish and empower an Inuit Youth Council to support energy planning and education initiatives within NunatuKavut communities, contributing to the success of the 2024 Energy Forum in Happy Valley Goose Bay.
GUIDELINES
- Successful council members must have access to computer equipment for virtual meetings.
- Materials developed as part of this council will be owned by NCC.
- Travel expenses will be compensated according to NCC rates.
REPRESENTATION
NCC welcomes expressions of interest from NunatuKavut Inuit Youth who are interested in becoming agents of change in energy planning and/or those with lived experience of energy challenges in NunatuKavut communities.
