Household Support workers available to help NCC seniors 60+

Household Support worker Tammy Campbell

Household Support workers are on hand in many NunatuKavut communities as of October 25, 2022, to assist seniors 60+ and adults with disabilities with basic tasks like:

  • picking up groceries and other supplies
  • picking up medications
  • light yard work
  • stowing wood

Support workers are available to service the following areas:

  • Cartwright
  • Black Tickle
  • Charlottetown
  • Pinsent’s Arm
  • Port Hope Simpson
  • St. Lewis
  • Mary’s Harbour/Lodge Bay
  • Straits: Red Bay, and Pinware to L’Anse au Clair
