*POSTPONED* Inuit-Centered Engagement Sessions: Discussions on Membership and Constitution
After careful consideration we will be rescheduling our Inuit-Centered Engagement Sessions in Mary’s Harbour, St. Lewis, Port Hope Simpson, Charlottetown and Cartwright to new dates in October due to the busy fishing season. We want to ensure our members living in these communities have the opportunity to share their important feedback regarding our Constitution and Membership processes.
Black Tickle’s Engagement Session remains tentatively planned for September 21. Further updates to follow.
A new schedule will be released once confirmed. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this has caused.

Join NCC’s Dr. Amy Hudson, Chief Governance Officer, and Krista Oxford, Executive Manager for the Office of Governance and Rights Secretariat, as they host a series of community meetings in NunatuKavut this September to discuss Inuit History and Governance, with a focus on our guiding Constitution and membership process.
The first meeting was held in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, May 23-24, 2023. The two-day event drew many NunatuKavut Inuit who shared their stories and connection to place. We hope you can join us from your home community!
Refreshments will be served, and we will be having prize draws! Our Membership office staff will also be on hand to assist Full-Members with card renewals (please bring documentation with you if you need assistance).
