Inuit History and Governance Gathering, May 23-24, 2023
Join us May 23-24, 2023 at Hotel North 2 in Happy Valley-Goose Bay, for two days of sharing and connection, to help inform NCC’s Office of Governance on the priorities of NunatuKavut Inuit. We will talk about how stories and connection to place influence Inuit ideas of Governance, such as citizenship and belonging, traditional activities and ideas of kinship.
Open to NCC Full-Members (Resident) throughout NunatuKavut.
Due to limited space, we ask that you please let us know by May 15, 2023 if you plan to attend. We will be sponsoring up to two Full-Member (Resident) attendees (travel, meals, hotel) from the following communities:
