NCC and Dalhousie University partner on High Efficiency Woodstove pilot project in Black Tickle
NCC’s Research, Education and Culture Department (REC), in partnership with Dalhousie University researchers Dr. Nick Mercer and Dr. Debbie Martin through the A SHARED Future research project, are undertaking a new research project with Black Tickle called the High Efficiency Woodstove pilot project. This is another step in reaching energy autonomy in NunatuKavut.
Volunteers are needed to take part in a study to identify community interest and gather feedback. One of the first steps in this process is a focus group discussion being held virtually in Black Tickle to gather community input. This is set to occur on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 at 6:30 p.m. NST.
