RFP: Delivery of firewood from Cartwright to Black Tickle

The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is inviting proposals from the private sector to ship 80 cords of firewood from Cartwright to Black Tickle, Labrador. The successful enterprise will work with NCC to pick up and deliver bags of firewood from dock site in Cartwright and deliver to dock site in Black Tickle.

If interested, please complete the short application form below and submit by email to sholwell@nunatukavut.ca. Submissions must be received by June 15, 2021. NCC’s Community Firewood Planning Committee will evaluate submissions and announce results by July 31, 2021.

REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES

  • The enterprise will be required to provide a Certificate of Insurance upon awarding of the contract and a Letter in Good Standing from WorkplaceNL.,
  • Preference may be given to enterprises registered with the NunatuKavut Business Centre,.
  • The partner enterprise will be asked to participate in a project debrief.,
  • The partner enterprise will be required to load firewood bags, ship them to the community of Black Tickle, and unload them on the community’s dock.,
  • The partner enterprise must follow any public health directives related to COVID-19 pandemic in place when the contracted work begins.
