RFP: Tender for Civil Engineering services in Port Hope Simpson

The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is inviting proposals from the private sector to complete recommendations for upgrades/retro-fits on an existing structure in Port Hope Simpson, NL (please see current photos in Appendix A). The successful engineering firm will be responsible for all tools and labour related to the completion of this project as outlined in this RFP & Scope of Work. The successful engineer firm will also work with NCC’s Project Manager to review and recommend supply lists required for this project.
If interested, please complete the application form below and submit by email to grussell@nunatukavut.ca. Submissions must be received by 4:30 p.m. AST, February 11, 2022. All proposals will be reviewed by NCC with the successful engineering firm being notified by February 15, 2022, with project works to start shortly after.
GUIDELINES
- Preference may be given to engineering firms registered with the NunatuKavut Business Centre.
- The engineering firm will be asked to participate in a project briefing, kick-off meeting, provide weekly updates to NCC’s Project Manager, and provide a final report.
- Must have up-to-date and certified professional engineering designation.
- The engineering firm must follow any public health directives related to COVID-19 pandemic in place when the contracted work begins.
