Educational Support Program *CLOSED*

The Educational Support Program is being introduced by the NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) in response to the COVID-19 global pandemic. It is a new program designed to support students with unexpected technology or connectivity expenses during the pandemic.


Eligible applicants must be a current NCC member enrolled in primary/elementary (Grades K-6), secondary (Grades 7-12) or post-secondary (College or University) schools in Canada.


  • Primary/Elementary and Secondary Students can access a one-time voucher up to a maximum of $200.
  • Post-Secondary Students can access a one-time voucher up to a maximum of $500.


The voucher must be used for expenses relating to technology (hardware/software) and/or connectivity (internet/data) for the 2020-2021 school year. Costs will be reimbursed from August 1, 2020 to a new end date of April 30, 2021 with a valid proof of purchase (i.e. receipt) until funding for this program is exhausted. Eligible costs include:

  • Internet/Data Plan
  • Software Programs (Adobe, Microsoft, Etc.)
  • Computer/Laptop
  • Tablet/iPad
  • Headset or headphones
  • Webcam
  • Printer/Ink
  • Tutoring Supports
