The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) Employment & Skills Development department is now accepting applications for the 2026-2027 academic year!
Deadline to apply is April 1, 2026.
Eligibility:
- Current member of the NunatuKavut Community Council
- Be enrolled full time in a government recognized college or university
- Be unemployed or underemployed (working less than 20 hours a week)
Selection Criteria:
- Meet labour market demand
- Academic performance
- Training history
- Cost of training
- Budget considerations
Please note: You do not have to be accepted into your program before applying. All applicants must complete the full Skills Development Application found online at https://nunatukavut.ca/educational-programs/. The application portion must be submitted by the deadline in order to be considered, supporting documents can be submitted as soon as they are available.
