Interested in sharing your perspectives on community life, identity, and change?
NCC is inviting and sponsoring NunatuKavut Inuit community members from each community to attend the Research, Education and Culture (REC) Department’s Land, Water, and Ice Gathering.
This gathering is a space for community members to share lived experience and perspectives on connection, identity, culture, and how knowledge is carried forward. Conversations will focus on listening and sharing.
Centering community perspectives and voices strengthens the work that follows and helps ensure it is meaningful, respectful, and useful. What is shared at this gathering will help guide how future work and partnerships are approached so they better reflect community priorities.
Date:Â March 17th & 18th
Location:Â Happy Valley-Goose Bay
