
NunatuKavut Community Council celebrates 40 Years at Annual General Assembly
HAPPY VALLEY–GOOSE BAY, LABRADOR, February 27, 2026 – The NunatuKavut Community Council (NCC) is marking 40 years of governance, growth, leadership, and service to the Inuit of central and southern Labrador at its Annual General Assembly on Feb 27-28. NCC will be launching a public-facing campaign at the AGA called Then. Now. Forever., which honours our ancestors while looking ahead to future generations. The AGA will celebrate NunatuKavut Inuit through cultural events and meaningful conversations that encourage us to look back on the past 40 years and consider both the opportunities and challenges ahead.
